1000 Lb Roomies: Jaz And Nesha Open Up About The Hard And Embarrassing Side Of Filming

Jaz and Nesha are back on TLC’s Season 2 of 1000 Lb Roomies. Both women say they never thought the show would get this big. Nesha said she had no idea fans would care so much. Jaz said they were scared of mean comments when the show first came out. Instead, fans showed them real support. That support caught them both off guard. Now, they feel grateful people connected with their story instead of judging them, and that has made this season easier to film in some ways.

Still, filming isn’t always easy. This season, Jaz can’t walk after a bad fall left her weak in body and mind. She now needs help with simple things, like bathing, and admits it feels embarrassing to show that on camera. Even so, Jaz stays positive. She hopes her story pushes others to take their health seriously, and she says thinking about that keeps her going on hard days. Her 12-year-old daughter, Nana, also keeps her strong. Nesha, meanwhile, reminds fans not to give up on their goals just because of one bad day.

1000 Lb Roomies: Jaz Slams Nesha For Being Insensitive To Her Recovery Struggles

In Season 1 of 1000 Lb Roomies, Jaz got hit with scary news – her doctor said she had to lose 130 pounds just to qualify for bariatric surgery, or she might not survive much longer. She had the surgery and started her recovery. But a nasty fall left her in the hospital, causing mobility issues. Now in Season 2, that recovery puts some strain between Jaz and Nesha.

Jaz calls out Nesha for being insensitive to what she’s going through. She says Nesha keeps pushing her to exercise harder and walk more, without really understanding what her body can handle right now. Jaz is trying her best in her current state. Jaz says it’s starting to feel like “hey Jazz, bye Jazz” instead of a real friendship. Things at home can be a lot with the recovery, but Nesha needs to also spend time with Jaz to show she matters.

Nesha isn’t fully in the wrong either, though. Her main priority is getting Jaz back on her feet and keeping her friend happy. Recovery isn’t just physical – pushing through mentally matters too, something she feels Jaz isn’t doing enough. Both women have a point. But Nesha shut down the conversation when Jaz called her insensitive and walked away. For more updates, follow TV Season & Spoilers.
