General Hospital Thursday, August 27 Update: Gio & Emma’s Horror – Sonny’s Surprise Guest – Ava’s Brennan Mission

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, August 27, indicate that Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) and Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) will make a disturbing discovery.

A little later, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will react to an unexpected arrival at his party.

Ava Jerome (Maura West) will also have a new challenge to tackle, so there’ll be a lot to look forward to on Thursday’s show.

Since Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) needs to get rid of the dirt Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) has on him, he’ll want to dig for it in Jack’s hotel room.

In the meantime, Ava will be tasked with keeping Brennan occupied and out of his suite.

It appears Brennan’s beverage may get drugged as part of this shady plan, but some twists and turns will play out before the week’s over.

Drew will make some vengeful promises in the meantime and do whatever he can to regain the upper hand.

Thursday’s GH episode will also bring a moment where Ava feels the sting of rejection.

Ava wouldn’t want to go to Sonny’s gathering anyway, but she could still grumble over not getting an invitation.

As for ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor), it looks like she’ll fill Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) in on the invite she received.

Molly may question whether attending this barbecue is really a good idea, but Justine will downplay any reasons to be concerned.

Sonny is in for a surprise since he told Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears) not to invite Justine and acted like she’d be too busy.

Donna sent a card requesting Justine’s presence anyway, so ADA Turner may be equally surprised to learn Sonny didn’t know about it.

Before Justine’s arrival, there’ll be some other drama that plays out on Sonny’s property.

Gio and Emma should be horrified over the anger spewing out of Michael and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) when they walk up to the door.

Brook Lynn and Michael will get into a major fight over Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) living arrangements, but Michael will think Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) lack of loyalty is the real problem.

If Brook Lynn could trust that Chase wouldn’t cheat with his former flame, Willow’s gatehouse move-in wouldn’t be an issue.

Once Emma and Gio listen in on the argument briefly, they’ll try to shut it down.

Gio will make it clear that the hostility needs to stop, especially since this barbecue is supposed to be a chance for family bonding.

Back with Molly, she’ll apparently have a new suspect that Chase is curious about.

Will this involve a theory on the other driver who fled the scene of Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) crash?

Chase doesn’t know it was Brook Lynn who fled the accident site that night, but it’s just a matter of time until the truth comes out.

For now, let’s focus on Willow’s office confrontation since Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will continue to bark threats at her.

Alexis may warn that if Willow dares to make a move against Kai Taylor (Jens Austrin Astrup) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), it’ll cost her everything.

Alexis could retaliate by exposing Willow as Drew’s shooter and ruin her political career as well as tank her custody case.

The scandalous news could ruin Willow’s public image for good.

Willow may argue that Alexis should understand better than anyone how Drew can drive a person to their breaking point.

Despite Drew’s awful actions, Alexis will think Willow is just as bad!
