General Hospital Spoilers: Anna Lures Britt to the Woods for Deadly Scheme

General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will have a deadly scheme up her sleeve when she lures Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) into the woods.

In fact, she’ll successfully be able to convince the good doctor to meet at night, so let’s talk about what happens next not only for Anna, but poor Britt as well!

General Hospital just released its promo for the week of August 31-September 4.

There’s a scene that shows Britt asking, “Why do we have to meet all the way out here?”

The next clip shows Anna holding a gun right at Britt as she replies, “So no one can hear you scream.”

Yikes! Talk about terrifying! Still, while this will be an utter shock to Britt, it’s not overly surprising to GH fans out there.

Unlike the rest of Port Charles, viewers know that Anna is far from mentally stable and has been getting visits from a Peter August (Wes Ramsey) hallucination, prompting her to get rid of Britt.

In addition, since Anna has returned to Port Charles, she’s also been putting pieces into place to lure, trap, and ultimately end Britt’s life.

Thanks to the Peter hallucination, Anna seems to think that Britt was behind her Wyndemere hostage situation, along with her brother, Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey).

Anna also believes that Britt remains a threat and danger to her loved ones and family.

Britt is far from perfect and has made a ton of mistakes since she returned to town, but she was not behind Anna’s kidnapping and certainly not a danger to the former super spy’s family.

Since Anna stepped back into Port Charles, she’s been concocting a plan to end Britt’s life.

Anna first started this by promising Britt she’d use her connections at the WSB to help the woman find out more information on her brother’s passing.

Britt’s mom, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), had been having a hard time with the information that has been released about Cassius’ demise, and Britt was hoping to get some insider scoop on this.

In the meantime, Anna also reached out to old friend, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) recently.

The two caught up, and she also asked if he’d sell her a piece of land on the property he owns outside of town so she could build a retreat.

With that said, fans could sense that her reason for wanting a cabin in the woods was less about relaxing and more about stashing a body somewhere that no one would ever find it.

So, fast-forward to the week of August 31, and it looks like Anna will pull the trigger on her terrible plan against Britt.

She’ll tempt Britt into meeting her outside of time, trap her, and then do who-knows-what to the woman.

With that said, will Anna succeed?

Britt will likely be saved or escape (at some point); however, there are sure to be some nail-biting moments in the midst of things to keep fans on their toes!

General Hospital spoilers hint that these promo videos can be deceiving at times, and this Anna-Britt scene could be a daydream-fantasy on Anna’s part, so only time will tell!
